Having lived here since she was 4 years old, Katie is about as close to a Napa native as you can get. Napa Valley is ever-evolving and reinventing itself. The small-town feel of Napa when Katie moved here in the 1980s is a far cry from the bustling energy of today’s Napa. But to her, it is still home and a place she feels deeply connected to.

Her parents, local business owners, instilled a strong work ethic. Education has always been a priority in her family, but practical experience was also highly valued. While she attended Justin-Sienna High School, Katie started working at her father’s dental office. Here, she learned accountability, how to provide quality customer service, and how to value the local community.

College and life took Katie out of Napa. However, soon after the arrival of her first child, Hailey, Katie moved back to Napa Valley. Denver was nice, but Napa was home. Motherhood is a natural impetus for one to evaluate their path in life. It was like that for Katie. She wanted to be a role model for her child and future children. She wanted to have time for her family, but she also wanted to work in the local community. Real Estate was a natural choice.

Hailey is now attending the University of Utah this Fall. Michaela is at Vintage High School and is a competitive cheerleader. Tessa attends a local elementary school and is enjoying gymnastics. Katie and her family enjoy taking time to appreciate all the natural beauty our area offers by hiking and boating when they can. They love nothing better than a day at the beach or a trip to the snow when time allows.
